Those of you who know the fashion week calendar by heart may have noticed that we skipped reviewing Milan Fashion Week and before you post something shady in the comments, hear us out. After LFW our focus turned to Paris, the home of more fashion houses than we can count, croissants and romance. We had our eyes set on the land of love but that doesn’t mean we missed the supermodel reunion of the century and the golden tones and lush floral embroidery Italian runways always offer. Now, back to Paris. French girl femme is a style emulated around the globe and it's so effortlessly cool that nothing else can compare. It’s tomboyish yet feminine, romantic yet edgy and thought out without coming across as contrived.

PFW is a feast for the eyes and as usual, it didn’t fail in delivering the goods. Here’s what you might’ve missed. 

-       Our fave babes Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Baldwin and Bella Hadid gave us a masterclass in street style. Who knew cut outs could be so cool?

-       Yeezy socked it to us. Kanye will present his Yeezy season 6 collection in Paris and his invitations were printed on pink socks. We’re kind of grossed out but also intrigued.

-       We saw lots of sheer styles, embroidery and double denim on the runway. Maybe Britney and Justin were onto something when they rocked double denim all those years ago?

-       Gold is the must have colour of the season.
