Happy International Sugar Cookie Day!!!


Here's how you can make your your very own HELLO MOLLY sugar cookies! (An exclusive recipe developed by us!)



1 1/2 cups of softened butter

2 cups white sugar 

2 teaspoons baking powder

4 eggs

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

4 - 5 cups of all purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt


Step 1:
In a large mixing bowl, cream together your butter and sugar until smooth. In a separate bowl, beat you eggs and vanilla extract befor mixing it with the creamed butter.

Step 2:
Thoroughly mix in your dry ingredients - flower, baking powder and salt. 

Step 3: 
Chill your dough for two hours (or overnight) 

Step 4:
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celcius (392 Farenheit). On a clean, flat and lightly floured surface, roll out your chilled dough to roughly 0.75cm thick. Cut cookies in any shape you desire. We've used blossom, crown and heart shaped cookie cutters. 

Step 5:
On a grease-proof paper lined cookie tray, place your carefully cut out cookies 1cm apart. 

Step 6:

Bake cookies for roughly 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove cookies from oven and leave to cool completely.



Step 1:
Mix two egg whites with 1 1/2 cups of fine powdered icing sugar. Whisk briskly until peaks are formed. Add a few teaspoons of water to your icing mixture if you would like your icing to be more runny instead of thick. 

if you want your If you don't have any eggs at the time, carefully stir a cup of water in four equal parts until you get the consistency you desire. 

Step 2:
Divide your icing into two separte bowls. Stir in ONE drop of bright pink food colouring into one bowl. Mix well to create a bright HELLO MOLLY pink! 

Step 3:
With a knife or thick clean brush, paint a generous layer of icing onto the top of your cooled cookies. Work FAST as the icing sets quickly. 

Step 4:
OPTIONAL - On the still wet icing, decorate your cookies however you wish. We've sprinked edible gold dust and silver sugar balls on top for MAXIMUM CUTENESS and ... ahem, more sugar. Set your cookies aside to dry. 

Step 5: 
Once your cookies have set properly, make yourself a cup of tea and enjoy your freshly baked HELLO MOLLY sugar cookies!!!
