Our Fave Stranger Things Moments
Hello, from the upside-down! We would’ve tried to communicate via Christmas lights, but it’s a tad hard to do that when Santa’s no longer in town. Stranger Things has, yet again, taken over the internet - so we thought we’d have a bike ride through all of our favourite moments from this iconic series.
For those of you who don't know, Stranger Things is a Netflix original series that has taken the world by storm. It's set in the 1980s and follows the disappearance of a young boy, Will, in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. His mother, Joyce, and his friends, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas, set out to find him, and along the way, they uncover a mysterious government conspiracy and a terrifying creature that seems to be behind it all.
The show is a binge essential, and there are so many great moments to choose from. But here are just a few of our favourites:
Hey Eleven!
When Eleven is first introduced in the show, she's a mysterious girl with a shaved head and a strange ability to telekinetically move things with her mind. She's also incredibly powerful, and seeing her use her abilities for the first time is both awesome and scary.
The Battle of Hawkins
The final showdown between the kids and the creature is an intense and thrilling scene that had us on the edge of our seats. And the final shot of Eleven using her powers to destroy the beast is absolutely perfect.
Hopper & Eleven Say Goodbye
This was a tearjerker of a scene and kudos to the Duffer brothers for not pulling any punches. We know Hopper is alive, but we're not sure how long he'll be away from Eleven. We just hope they'll be able to find each other again.
When Eleven Closed The Gate
Eleven has always been a powerful character, but in the second season, she proved just how powerful she really is. When she closed the Gate to the Upside Down, it was a moment of triumph and hope, and it showed that she is the only one who can protect the people she loves.
The Iconic First Appearance
We're not going to lie, the Demogorgon is one seriously scary creature. But there's something about its first appearance in the show that is just so gripping. Maybe it's the way it suddenly appears out of nowhere, or it's so unlike anything we've ever seen before. Either way, it's definitely a moment that had us on the edge of our seats.
