WOC Owned The Oscars

WOC Owned The Oscars - Hello Molly USA

WOC Owned The Oscars

We love when people of all different cultures and backgrounds come together to showcase how hard they can slay any and all outfits, and of course, slay with talent. While of course the Oscars is one of the biggest award shows, it definitely has become more renowned for the fantastic outfits that are created and showcased. And this year, more than ever, WOC owned the stage with all of their designer looks.  These actors and artists came to kill - and kill they did.

H.E.R

She adorned this amazing jumpsuit. Dripping in a brilliant purple lace and with that train? Who can stop H.E.R? To make this look even more epic, she has extra length with her beautiful hair waved to perfection and purple sunnies to complete this monochromic masterpiece.

Youn Yuh-Jung and Yeri Han

These two Korean women made history at the Oscars this year, being one of the first Koreans to ever win an award. We hope this continues and extends over to other global creative talents; because there are many in this world! Youn Yuh-Jung was seen wearing an understated and elegant piece. The blue boxy dress allowed her charismatic and feminine energy to shine through. Her supporting actor Yeri Han was also understated but in a more youthful way. She took the spotlight in this bright red piece and that slick back ponytail was THE statement.

Fatima Farheen Mirza and Riz Ahmed

Remember that couple that went viral because he fixed her hair? The power they hold. Fatima Farheen Mirza stole a great portion of the internet with her presence and it’s not hard to see why. She adorned a piece that was very reminiscent of a sari to reflect her Indian heritage. Which we definitely love, embracing your culture is peak luxury. Her husband, Riz complimented his wife’s stunning blue piece beautifully with his sleek black tux. A power couple if we’ve ever seen one.
